Castalia & TMC to Host their Iconic Beauty Pageant & Fashion Show in Trivandrum

13 October 2022, Trivandrum – Thiruvananthapuram is ready to host the season’s most awaited fashion show in Kerala. 

Leading talent and modeling agencies Castalia and Travancore Modeling Company (TMC) is all set to organize yet another version of their iconic beauty pageant in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala from November 5 to 6. The event will be held at the Mall of Travancore.

Continuing the success of their previously held fashion shows, this year’s event will bring together a lineup of separate fashion contests – Miss/Mrs/Mr. Travancore, Malayalimanka, and Kids of Travancore. Together, they offer a promising opportunity for models and designers to showcase their talents and get recognized. 

A designer contest has also been organized called Travancore Designer League. Fashion designers from all over Kerala are invited to participate and display their best and latest collections as part of the contest.

Through this event, Castalia and TMC aim to transform Thiruvananthapuram into a major fashion hub in the state, empower women and promote traditional fashion. Aspiring models and designers will also get an excellent opportunity to make their mark in Kerala’s fashion industry. 

The show organizers are putting up a more engaging show this time and plan to bring together fashion professionals – models, designers, choreographers, makeup artists, boutique owners, and photographers under one roof. 

One-of-a-Kind Beauty Pageant for Models in Trivandrum 

The 2022 edition of the show will bring to the ramp contestants for the titles – Mrs, Miss, Mr. Travancore, Malayalimanka, and Kids of Travancore. The two-day fashion event will feature some of the top professionals in the field of fashion and celebrities as invitees and judges. 

The contest for these titles will be conducted in two rounds with the first round focusing on models in traditional wear and the second on western clothing. The event finale will showcase the Malalimanka segment to crown the best model in traditional Kerala attire. 

Freshers and experienced models can take part in the event and get a chance to be crowned for the beauty titles. Kids aged between 4 – 15 years can participate in the Kids of Travancore segment. 

The show will open up more opportunities for new faces in modeling to get noticed. All chosen contestants for the event especially fresh faces will be offered grooming and training sessions in ramp walking, body language, personality coaching, makeup, and costumes.

A Host of Benefits for Fashion Models 

Contestants for the different beauty pageants will receive several benefits to help them take their next big step in modeling. Awaiting the participants are a chance to be featured as actors/actresses in an upcoming film by director and screenwriter Anish J Karinad. 

An award ceremony – Kerala Fashion Award 2022 is planned at the end of the show. In this segment, winners will be presented with a golden crown to recognize their talents.
