Project Information
Vikas and Indulekha wanted their pre-wedding shoot to feel lighthearted and authentic. They chose Candid Novia to preserve their memories with a personal touch. we joined them at Alappuzha Beach, a perfect setting for their story.
The session began with playful energy and warm smiles. The couple shared moments of laughter that turned each frame into a memory. The bright beach atmosphere added a fresh feel to their photographs.
PROJECT CONCEPT
Jobymol (Juan’s Mother) invited us to capture the baptism of her baby, Juan Ann Stesso. The ceremony was held on 16 February 2025 at Udayamperoor. The package included graded photographs, a highlight video, and a beautifully designed album.
Travel and Preparation
Our crew arrived fully prepared to cover the day. Raunak Shankar led the photography, supported by Jero Joseph and Sreelakshmi. Though planned carefully, we soon realized an important detail had been overlooked.
Project Concept
The goal was to create a balance between documentary coverage and artistic frames. Every ritual and blessing was planned to be preserved in both photographs and video. The challenge came when we noticed videography had not been accounted for in our initial setup.
Photography and Editing
We worked with two DSLR cameras, LC lights, and video lights. When the missing videography detail was noticed, we quickly acted. Vinu was called in to handle the videography, saving the session. The photos were graded by Shanu Prakash, while Aswin and his team edited the video with finesse.
Final Outcome
The final package combined polished photographs, a cinematic highlight film, and a crafted album. Together, they told the story of the baptism with grace and completeness.
Experience and Highlights
This shoot taught us the value of double-checking every package detail. Although we faced a challenge, teamwork and quick decisions turned the day into a success. The nearby location gave us the time we needed to adjust.
Conclusion
Capturing this baptism was both a joyful and insightful experience. It reminded us of the importance of preparation and adaptability, ensuring that every family receives memories they can cherish forever.
