Moonstar Media Productions is organizing a grand event in Thrissur in association with Tendenza, where you can compete with other talented contestants to become the next Miss Thrissur.

This event promises to be a night full of glamour and excitement. Participants will showcase their talents and beauty on stage. The event features a series of rounds, including a talent round, a traditional round, a western/lehenga round, and a few others we’ll mention later in the blog.

Everything About Miss Thrissur 2023

The registration

To participate in the Miss Thrissur 2023 pageant show, candidates must register by paying a non-refundable registration amount of Rs. 500.

The selected candidates will then have to pay a registration amount of Rs. 15,000 and go through a three-day grooming session starting on May 11th, 2023, and ending on May 13th, 2023.

It is essential to note that contestants must fulfill the following requirements:

Origin: Kerala
Gender: Female
Marital Status: Single
Minimum Height: 5 feet
Age Limit: Between 17 and 30

Grooming Session

The grooming sessions will start at 10 am and continue till 5 pm on all three days (11^th, 12^th, and 13^th May).

Grooming Takeaways for Models

The session will focus on various aspects to ensure that models can confidently walk the runway, showcase the best poses in front of the camera, perform basic choreography routines, and master the art of grooming.

The new models focus on:

Runway Ambulation – Learning the correct posture and body language to exhibit while walking down the runway.
Modeling Poses – Showcasing the most fitting modeling poses on the catwalk and in front of the lens.
Choreography – Fundamental choreography routines for competent and professional runway modeling.
Personal Care – Improving interpersonal aptitude, refined code of conduct, and suggestions for audition preparation.
Training – Undergoing rigorous training to improve your modeling skills and showcase talent.

Final Crowning

The contestants will go through six rounds including the crowning round:

• In the Talent Round, the contestants will get 60 seconds to present any talent. This round will be on the third day of grooming.

• In the Traditional Round, models showcase exquisite Indian attire such as sarees, salwar kameez, or lehenga cholis.

• The Western/Lehenga Round allows models to display their elegance and grace in Western outfits or fusion wear, including the popular lehenga-choli combo.

• The Gown Round brings out the sophistication and style of the models as they flaunt evening gowns and cocktail dresses.

• The Question Round reveals the intellect and personality of the models as they answer questions posed by the judges or the audience.

• The Crowning Round marks the exciting culmination of the event as judges decide on the competition’s winner – the coveted Miss Thrissur.

Points to be Noted

Contestants should take care of the following before participating in the event:

Carry a notepad and pen for grooming.
Carry accessories and stilettos for three rounds of the pageant.
Prepare a 60-second on-stage introduction.
Parents, relatives, and friends are prohibited at the green room and grooming hall.
Bring track, costumes, accessories, and props for the talent round.
