Manushi Chhillar

Manushi Chhillar is an Indian model and actress who represented the state of Haryana at the 2017 Miss India pageant and was crowned winner.. Chhillar is the sixth Indian to win the Miss World pageant. She will make her screen debut in Prithviraj, a historical drama set to premiere early next year.

Manushi was born on May 14, 1997, in Haryana. Fashion Big Bazaar sponsored Campus Princess 2016 was the first time for Manushi to enter the pageant world.

She won the title Femina Miss India Haryana in April 2017. Manushi represented Haryana in the annual Femina Miss India pageant and She was crowned Miss Photogenic

Chhillar was a finalist in the Top Model, People’s Choice, and Multimedia contests at Miss World 2017, as well as co-winner of the Beauty with a Purpose competition. On November 18, 2017, Chhillar was named Miss World 2017 at the conclusion of the finals in Sanya, China, She is India’s sixth woman to crown Miss World.

Her Beauty with a Purpose campaign, ‘Project Shakti’ aims to achieve healthy and sanitary conditions for women. Project Shakti, was awarded 18 crores of INR to ensure free sanitary napkins for adolescent girls by the Haryana government.

She always placed this initiative deep in heart, When a fan asked about the one cause you hold dear to her heart

She answered

“The one cause I always held dear to my heart is spreading awarness with regard to health and hygene among women becuse I feel a healthy woman means a healthy family and healthy families mean a healthy nation”

Chhillar will star in Prithviraj, a Yash Raj Films production directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi and her Bollywood debut.
